About

Zeiter Arms story started over 50 years ago when the founder, Scott Zeiter, shot his first firearm, a 22 rifle, with his uncles and grandfather Carson.

Fast forward to 2020, he decided to build his first AR rifle. But not just any AR rifle. This was an M16A4 clone, right down to every detail and component. The rifle honored his son (named after his great-grandfather) who was recently medically retired from the US Marines as a disabled veteran. The rifle was built to be an exact replica of the rifle handed to him at Parris Island in Basic Training. After shooting it with his son, the intention was to sell it. However, it was “too fun to shoot” and the decision was made not to sell.

Building this M16A4 clone ignited a passion for building firearms. Over the next few years that passion fueled the learning, and building, of multiple AR rifles, Glock compatible pistols, and ultimately 1911 pistols.

Practice makes perfect, which led to quality. Scott takes pride in everything he builds and buys. You will find that his 1911 pistols are built with the tight tolerances and accuracy you would expect from the high-end big-name pistol manufacturers.
